在這本詩集裡收錄了女詩人林明理最近一年多以來的新作，內容包括由非馬（馬為義博士）翻譯的62首英詩及大陸學者翻譯或未譯的詩作46首，配合其畫作或攝影作品刊登在海內外報刊。她是一位熱愛大自然及關懷地球生態的作家。她的詩畫亦有著對臺灣土地深摯的情感。
Included in this collection are works of poetess Lin Ming-Li published in newspapers and magazines at home and abroad during the past year.  There are 62 poems translated into English by poet Feima (Dr. William Marr) plus  other 46 poems, some were also translated into English by Mainland Chinese scholars, along with her photographic works and paintings.  A writer who loves nature and cares about the earth's ecology, her works also show deep feelings about her homeland of Taiwan.（非馬譯）
